$20.00/hr 1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Forklift Operator / Material Handler - Receiving to support supply chain operations in a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for receiving, verifying, and storing raw materials while ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and inventory control standards. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory, supporting production flow, and ensuring proper handling of sensitive and organic materials. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming raw materials, including concentrates and shipments from suppliers (FedEx, UPS, LTL) Verify packing lists, purchase orders, lot numbers, country of origin, and expiration dates for accuracy Inspect inbound shipments, complete trailer inspection forms, and confirm temperature requirements Operate forklifts to transport and store materials in designated warehouse, cooler, and freezer locations Utilize
QAD / RF
scanning systems to receive inventory and maintain accurate records Label and tag materials appropriately, including handling of sensitive and organic ingredients per compliance standards Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) practices to ensure proper inventory rotation Perform sampling of materials within required timeframes and coordinate with Quality Control as needed Maintain organization of warehouse, coolers, and freezers to support efficient storage and cycle counting Stage outbound shipments and coordinate transfers to other facilities Identify and report discrepancies or quality concerns related to materials or documentation Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all GMP, SQF, and food safety standards Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2-4 years of experience in material handling, warehouse, or receiving operations Forklift experience required (certification preferred) Experience with inventory systems or RF scanning (QAD or similar preferred) Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in food or beverage manufacturing Familiarity with FEFO inventory practices and food safety regulations (GMP, SQF) Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to work independently and maintain productivity Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Comfortable working in warehouse, cooler, and freezer environments #INDI
