Position Overview:

We are an innovative and industry-leading organization looking for a Millwork Shop Associate to join our team. As a Millwork Shop Associate, you will play a vital role in the movement, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and products within our assigned area. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and organizing inventory and assisting in loading and unloading freight using manual labor, pallet jacks, or forklifts. Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or designated areas. Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the assigned area. Maintain general cleanliness and hygiene of the work area, including sweeping floors and dock areas. Assist in receiving cargo by hand or using a forklift to unload trucks. Assemble customer orders by wrapping and packing items onto trucks for delivery. Sort and place materials on racks and shelves. Perform manual loading and unloading of freight using pallet jacks or forklifts. Assist with general labor and warehouse maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

One to three years of experience in a warehouse environment preferred. Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs., as well as occasional pushing/pulling of up to 50 lbs. Basic language skills required; ability to read, write, and speak English preferred. Proficiency in reading, comprehending, and completing basic checklists, forms, or related documents. Forklift experience is preferred, but exposure to operating similar equipment may be considered. Consistent and punctual attendance is required. Must have the ability to report to work on time consistently.
