Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods within our warehouse operations. Your expertise will ensure seamless inventory management, efficient order fulfillment, and compliance with shipping regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to warehouse logistics. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support receiving, inventory, material movement, and production operations. This role is responsible for accurately receiving and stocking materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production needs, and ensuring a safe, organized warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming materials from external suppliers using ERP and barcode systems. Verify shipments and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and received quantities. Repackage and prepare materials for inventory and production use. Move materials into inventory, warehouse locations, or production work cells. Communicate material delivery issues with Purchasing, Supervisors, Assemblers, and other internal teams. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S practices and all required PPE and safety procedures. Perform cycle counts for warehouse and production floor inventory locations. Support production by monitoring material shortages and promptly processing expedited deliveries. Assist with incoming inspection to help ensure quality materials reach production quickly. Follow company quality standards, ISO 9001 procedures, and established standard operating procedures. Identify and report non-conforming materials or processes to the appropriate personnel. Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, efficiency, communication, and workflow. Assist with training new employees on receiving, stocking, ERP, and barcode systems. Assist with developing and updating receiving and inventory procedures. Perform additional duties and special assignments as needed to support the team. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2-3 years of relevant manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience ; or 1 year of experience as a Material Handler II within the company. Experience using ERP, WMS, or MRP systems; experience with Infor LN is a plus. Ability to learn and use computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Zoom. Ability to read and understand packaging instructions, work instructions, notes, and customer requirements. Strong attention to detail and above-average math skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments. Ability to locate and interpret information using company computer systems and networks. Ability and willingness to assist with training new employees. Ability to support special projects and changing workload demands.
