Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Food Service Receiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and managing incoming food and beverage shipments to ensure accurate delivery and proper storage. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Your efforts will help maintain smooth operations and ensure that all food products meet quality standards and compliance requirements. Duties Receive incoming shipments of food and beverage products, verifying quantities against purchase orders. Inspect deliveries for quality, damage, and accuracy, documenting any discrepancies or issues. Load and unload pallets using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts while adhering to safety protocols. Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring proper rotation of perishable items according to food safety standards. Assist with order picking, packing, and preparing items for distribution or shipment within the warehouse. Maintain cleanliness and organization of receiving areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Skills Strong knowledge of inventory management, shipping logistics, and warehouse distribution processes. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing. Excellent attention to detail for inspecting shipments and recording data precisely. Good communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, logistics teams, and internal staff.
