In this role, you will be responsible for packing, labeling, and shipping orders accurately and on time, meeting shipping deadlines, paying attention to details, ensuring that our shipping operations run smoothly and efficiently, and communicating tracking information to customers when required. This position will also be assisting in training and assisting in our parts department - picking, receiving, and handling parts as needed as well as assisting other departments when available. Responsibilities Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products according to company standards. Verify accuracy of orders, shipping locations, and inspect items for damage before shipping. Operate shipping software and systems to generate labels and track packages. Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, XPO, etc.) for pickups and deliveries. When applicable, construct emails to customers with attention to verbiage, provided information, and spelling accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized shipping area. Assist with inventory counts, cycle tracking, and restocking as needed. Communicate with team members and customers to resolve shipping issues. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Assisting in Parts and other departments in downtime or as needed. Attention to detail is essential for maintaining accurate inventory records. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Previous experience in shipping, warehouse management, parts handling, or logistics preferred Basic computer skills (typing and familiarity with Word, Outlook, and Excel preferred) Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers, customers, team members, and management Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail is essential for maintaining tracking and shipping records, and keeping an accurate parts inventory
