Local lumberyard is looking for a Receiving Clerk. Looking for a job where you can work inside and outside? Like a fast paced environment? Enjoy lumber & building materials? Get to know the store inside and out! All products sold at the location come directly to you first. Receive vendor merchandise such as lumber, building materials, hardware, tools, paint, appliances, cabinets, flooring, and more. Accuracy and attention to detail is a must.

Some of the duties include:

Unloading trucks - lumber & building materials and retail merchandise. Accurately verifying merchandise received. Completing claims and returns damaged merchandise from shipment and defective merchandise. Pulls all special purchase orders and assigns a bin location. Responsible for second notification of special purchase orders as to why it hasn't been picked up or if it has been picked up to have it invoiced out of the computer. Unloads and stocks yard material in its specific place. Responsible for merchandising freight via UPS to customer. Daily operation of forklift and pallet jack. Communication with all departments.

Position does require:

Operating a forklift and pallet jack. Using a computer to look up and record information. Ability to stand/walk. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. Must be able to handle, move and locate material/merchandise. Position is Monday through Friday. No weekends!
