M-F 6:45AM-3:15PM $18.00/hr.+ depending on experienceOverview:
Under the general direction of the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipper is responsible for the timely packing and shipping of manufactured pieces. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Packages assemblies and inspect wrapping, parts, and containers for conformance to company standards, customer requirements, shipping companies, and postal regulations Weighs packages and determines postage and affixes postage stamps to packages Prepares product and packages for shipping in conformity with company, customer, and government regulations, both domestic and internationally Able to navigate and accurately enter data into various shipping websites for the generation of shipping labels Able to navigate customer websites to provide up to date shipping data Review questionable items with the company Technical Control Officer (TCO) Sorts parcels for shipment according to destination or other classification While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time Other duties may be assigned as neededQualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Pay:
