This position is responsible for managing the shipment and receipt of all products, materials and supplies. Key skills for
Shipping and Receiving:
Following receiving, packaging and shipping procedures Ensuring that shipments are properly labeled Receive and inspect incoming shipments for any damages, defects or discrepancies Verify accuracy of shipment contents against purchase orders and/or packing lists Filling out receiving and shipping logs Sort and stock receivables Ensure proper storage and handing of incoming and outgoing products Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages Communicate with shipping administrator and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products Maintain a clean and organized area Unload trucks and deliveries as needed Basic computer skills Using UPS/other shipper internet software Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude Able to work independently and within a team Good written and verbal communication skills Requirements for
Shipping and Receiving:
High School or equivalent 18 years of age Certification in operation of fork lift Shipping and receiving experience Able to lift heavy objects Work in a fast paced environment
•This is a full-time position, occasional over-time required at busy times of the month.
•Hiring Bonus - up to $2,000
