Receiver at Village Supermarket, Inc. The ShopRite of Morristown, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to fill the role of a Receiver. As a receiver you will deliver a great customer experience while safely and efficiently maintaining a neat, clean and organized warehouse. To perform responsibilities that will ensure accurate receiving of all deliveries to protect Company assets. To perform other tasks as required in an efficient and safe manner, within Company policy. As a Receiver, you will play a crucial role in our operations, with responsibilities including: Unloading and verifying all inbound and outbound merchandise Monitoring inventory levels Managing damaged or return-to-stock products in accordance with company policies Ensuring the accuracy of all invoices in terms of cost, retail pricing, and quantity The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Daily tasks will encompass a range of activities, from unloading trucks and verifying merchandise to maintaining stringent safety standards. Our commitment to a clean, organized, and safe work environment is paramount, and your contribution will be key in achieving this standard. Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements: ability to stand for periods longer than 8 hours, ability to lift, pull, and push merchandise weighing more than 50lbs, proficiency in English, basic math skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). $15.92 - $18.50 per hour
