Responsibilities Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools to load, unload, and transport materials safely. Use barcode scanning systems and RF scanners to accurately pick and pack customer orders while maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy. Manage order picking and packing processes with precision, ensuring all items are correctly selected according to order specifications. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying incoming shipments against delivery documentation and organizing outbound packages for dispatch. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by stocking shelves, managing inventory levels within warehouse management systems, and ensuring proper storage of materials. Follow safety protocols diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to heavy lifting guidelines, and operating heavy equipment responsibly. Support warehouse distribution activities by loading and unloading trucks efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred; familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks; certification is advantageous. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and order calculations. Knowledge of safety protocols related to warehouse work including PPE use and safe operation of material handling equipment. Experience with barcode scanning for logistics purposes and familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures. Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
