Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Shipping Clerk, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods through our warehouse operations. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be at the forefront of our supply chain, helping us meet delivery deadlines and maintain high standards of quality and compliance. Responsibilities Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently using shipping & receiving procedures. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, RF scanners, forklifts (certification preferred), and order pickers to load and unload freight safely. Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels, update records, and ensure data entry accuracy. Coordinate with logistics teams to schedule shipments, verify order details, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards. Conduct inventory management tasks including stocking, order picking, packing, and cycle counts to maintain optimal stock levels. Assist in maintaining warehouse organization by managing warehouse distribution processes and ensuring a clean, safe working environment. Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve shipping issues promptly while providing excellent customer service. Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is highly preferred; familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word for data entry and reporting purposes. Knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP or MRP software) and inventory management best practices. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order fulfillment and shipment documentation. Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification; experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide superior customer service.
