This position is responsible for receiving incoming merchandise, verifying shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring products are accurately accounted for before moving into production or fulfillment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and understands the importance of accuracy, organization, and keeping materials moving efficiently. Key Responsibilities Receive and unload incoming shipments of apparel, uniforms, equipment, and supplies Verify shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and system records Count and inspect merchandise for accuracy, damage, and discrepancies Enter and update received inventory in the company's system Label, sort, and organize incoming merchandise by customer, order, style, size, and quantity Communicate shortages, overages, damages, or incorrect items to management and purchasing Route received merchandise to the appropriate production, decoration, warehouse, or fulfillment area Maintain an organized and accurate receiving area Maintain accurate records and paperwork related to incoming shipments Perform other warehouse duties as assigned What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to lift and move boxes and merchandise throughout the workday Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/order management systems Ability to read packing slips, purchase orders, and product information Good organizational and time-management skills Dependable, punctual, and responsible Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and problem-solving skills
