Shipping/Labeling Clerk Zing Recruiting - 3.9 West Caldwell, NJ Job Details Temp-to-hire $23 - $24 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Leading manufacturer located in West Caldwell, NJ has an immediate need for a Shipping / Labeling Clerk Job Job Description The Shipping and Labeling Clerk is responsible for preparing, labeling, packaging, and verifying outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and on-time delivery. They will play a key part in ensuring that all products leave the facility correctly packaged, documented, and labeled according to customer and carrier requirements. Forklift Hazmat Prepare and apply shipping labels in accordance with customer and carrier requirements. Package product in appropriate shipping containers per regulatory requirements Verify order details, quantities, and packaging against shipping documents. Maintain accurate shipping logs and documentation. Operate label printers and shipping software. Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and compliance with regulations. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order dispatch. Follow company policies and safety protocols at all times. Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse manager. Attends all required training and staff meetings Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices Maintains a positive and professional demeanor towards customers, visitors, and co-workers Adheres to all policies and procedures of Penta Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required (e.g., GED) Prior experience in a warehouse setting is a plus, but not required. Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools. Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills Speak and understand English, Spanish a plus Provide own transportation and have a driver's license Knowledge of various cleaning products/ tools and when to use them Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, and climbing ladders.
