Job Description

INTERMOUNTAIN FARMERS ASSOCIATION
, a regional agricultural cooperative, is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Receiving Clerk at the IFA Country Store in Elko, Nevada.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Check in all incoming and outgoing shipments. Able to use computer and company software. Able to follow IFA receiving procedures. Resolve any differences in receipts with vendor, category manager, and accounts payable department. Label all incoming product with a bar code pricing label. Set and maintain product locations in company computer inventory system. Assist with physical inventories and cycle counting. Assist category managers in defective returns by returning them in a timely manner. Work and communicate well with co-workers. Treat co-workers with respect. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent. Able to lift up to 70-80 lbs. often during shift. Climb an 8-rung ladder when necessary. Able to be on your feet for 8 hours during shift. Able to stoop, bend, lift, push, pull, walk, and stretch repeatedly during shift. Handle stress while performing job functions and dealing with dissatisfied customers. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form. Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages and use basic math skills. Work around and handle hazardous material properly.
