Knowledge of GD&T, First Article Inspection (FAI), Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma is a plus. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication skills. Physical Capabilities Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the workday. Frequent use of hands to inspect, measure, and handle parts. Ability to look closely at small details and measurements. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow safety procedures. Ability to complete tasks with little supervision. Job Duties Check parts and products using measuring tools to make sure they match drawings and customer requirements. Complete inspections during production, final inspections, and shipping inspections before products are sent to customers. Create inspection reports, certificates, and quality records, and enter information into the company computer system. Review paperwork for accuracy and make sure all documents are complete before shipment. Identify and report damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming parts and help track quality issues. Work with team members and customers, follow safety rules, and keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
