In this role, you will oversee the efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all relevant regulations. Your expertise will support seamless warehouse operations, inventory management, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in warehouse distribution processes, ready to contribute to the smooth flow of goods through our supply chain. M-F 6:00 am -2:30 pm Duties Receive incoming shipments by inspecting packages for damage and verifying contents against packing lists using inventory management software. Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting appropriate packaging materials, labeling, and ensuring proper documentation for shipping logistics. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload freight safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of all transactions through data entry in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as AS400. Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards. Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts, updating inventory management software, and reporting discrepancies. Assist with order fulfillment processes including picking & packing orders accurately for timely dispatch. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock placement, stocking shelves, and optimizing storage space. Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve shipping & receiving issues promptly. Ensure adherence to safety protocols during all warehouse operations including load & unload procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping logistics, or related roles within a distribution environment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel for data entry and reporting. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment documentation. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers. Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, packaging standards, and trade compliance regulations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and data entry tasks. Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and external carriers.
