Job Description

What to Expect The manufacturing automation development engineering team is looking for an extremely organized, detail-oriented, and safety-focused Kitting and Receiving Associate to play a pivotal role in our inventory and logistics operations. This position requires proficiency in operating forklifts or walkies to safely move materials to and from the docks and our shop, while also handling manual inventory management and kitting processes. The successful candidate will receive incoming shipments with hardware procured for equipment builds, process it through our systems, and properly organize and store it in defined locations for efficient access. They will work closely with our procurement specialist to pick up, receive, organize, and store materials in preparation for project builds, as well as maintain our project BOM tracker using tools like Microsoft Excel. Additionally, this individual will collaborate within a cross-functional team of engineers and engineering technicians to organize, kit, and handoff hardware for equipment builds against project deadlines to maintain a smooth workflow and inventory accuracy.
Shift:
Monday - Friday; 8:00AM - 4:00PM What You'll Do Load and unload material onto or from delivery vehicles, storage racks, build floor, etc. using heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, walkies, etc. Collect materials and packages to/from general receiving areas for processing of goods receipt and offsite locations shipments Responsible for receiving, organizing, and stocking materials as well as updating our inventory systems and project BOM trackers Pull BOM components from inventory and project cages to make kits required for mechanical and electrical assembly of projects.
