Job Description

We are a manufacturer of Precision Gear and Machined Products seeking an entry level Shipping & Receiving Clerk, willing to train the right person. In this role you will assist in the overall operation of the shipping and receiving department by assuring all shipments and receiving packages are handled properly, including product being stacked and organized properly to meet shipment quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Creates and processes packing lists and shipping labels. Inspecting goods received for damage and distributing packages to other departments. Tracking inventory by keeping accurate record counts. Loads trucks with proper product for shipment. Performs the function of delivery driver as needed. Performs other job duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

High school degree or equivalent Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to operate FedEx and UPS meter machines. Must have good communication skills. Must have strong attention to detail. Forklift experience a plus, but not required.
