Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Shipper is responsible for performing a variety of domestic and international shipping tasks through a variety of shipping and warehouse job functions. The Shipper will help support the department goals and objectives of efficiency, utilization and on-time delivery. Regular work schedule will reflect Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm. Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $17.00 to $18.00 per hour. This is the reasonable estimate for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Pay could be more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location. You will make a difference in the following ways: 1. Checks open delivery workload list for sequence of orders to be filled. 2. Prepares all shipping documentation for customer shipments. 3. Stages material on carts and/or skids in preparation of shipment. 4. Pick and package material to ship using a push cart and sometimes a ladder for parcel orders and/or fork lift for skid orders. 5. Unload trucks and perform put-a-ways for incoming material from production and/or receiving cross-dock material. 6. Input all necessary transactions into SAP system in an accurate and timely manner. 7. Process small packages through the shipping systems (UPS, Fed-Ex, Airborne, etc.). 8. Perform Cycle Counts of inventory on an ongoing basis 9. Labels, wraps, and banks orders as needed. 10. Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion, abiding by company rules and safety regulations. 11. Performs all other duties as assigned.
What you bring:
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. One year of relatable experience.
Knowledge:
Ability to follow and execute detailed processes/directions. Strong organizational skills. Basic mathematical skills. Computer literacy.
Special Skills:
Forklift License and OSHA Certification a plus.
Customers Define Our Success:
Provide support to the production floor, answer equipment repair and trouble-shooting requests to eliminate machine downtime and ensure continuous production.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
