Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Gate Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact at the facility's gate, ensuring smooth and secure entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and shipments. Responsibilities Manage access control by verifying credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and carriers entering or leaving the facility Process inbound and outbound shipments using warehouse management systems and inventory management software Assist with shipping logistics, including coordinating load & unload activities, order picking, packing, and order fulfillment Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to facilitate movement of goods within the warehouse Maintain accurate records through data entry in ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms Support inventory management efforts by conducting stock checks, assisting with stocking procedures, and updating inventory records Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards during shipping & receiving activities Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems (such as AS400), and Microsoft Office suite Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining precise records Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners Knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, trade compliance, and international trade regulations is a plus Join us as a Gate Clerk to be a key player in our warehouse operations!
