Non-Exempt Summary of Job :
Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Shipping Clerk will perform some, or all of the various duties and tasks related to the Shipping Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Regular tasks performed and outcomes to be accomplished on the job. Other duties may be assigned. Pack orders and prepare them to be shipped. Inspection of items to ensure there is no damage nor missing parts. Packing goods according to specifications and transporting them to shipping dock area. Track all orders to ensure inventory is accurately recorded. Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Maintain a professional, clean and safe work area. Other related duties as assigned.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The listed requirements are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required. Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills. Able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (30 to 50 pounds in weight). Problem-solver who can think quantitatively and notice defects and errors quickly. Using a high level of attention to detail/detail oriented. Strong communication skills and can work as a team member with a wide variety of people in the supply chain. High School Diploma, or GED.
