Job Description
Key Responsibilities Global Distribution:
Coordinate complex international shipments via air, ocean, and land, ensuring 100% accuracy in high-stakes aerospace logistics.Export Documentation:
Prepare and audit specialized international paperwork, including Commercial Invoices, SLIs (Shipper s Letter of Instruction), and EEI (Electronic Export Information) filings via ACE/AES.Compliance Expertise:
Act as the frontline for ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations) compliance.Customs Navigation:
Assign correct HS/HTS Codes and ECCN classifications to ensure smooth customs clearance and avoid costly seizures or fines.Courier Liaison:
Manage relationships with international freight forwarders and integrators (DHL Express, FedEx International, Kuehne+Nagel, etc.).Specialized Handling:
Manage "Aircraft on Ground" (AOG) shipments that require immediate, 24/7-style urgency and precision.Technical Qualifications Experience:
3+ years in international shipping, specifically within the Aerospace or Defense sectors.Incoterms Mastery:
Deep understanding of Incoterms 2020 (EXW, FCA, DAP, DDP, etc.) and how they impact cost and liability.Regulatory Knowledge:
Familiarity with C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) and standardFAA/EASA
documentation.Software:
Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and global shipping platforms.Language Skills:
(Optional) Multi-lingual capabilities are a plus but not required.salary:

Prepare, pack, and secure aerospace components (ranging from small electronics to large structural assemblies) using specialized materials to prevent damage during transit.Documentation Excellence:
Generate and verify essential shipping documents, including Air Waybills, Commercial Invoices, Packing Slips, and Certificates of Conformance (CoC).Compliance:
Ensure all shipments comply with FAA, EASA, and ITAR regulations. Handle "Dangerous Goods" (HAZMAT) according to IATA standards when necessary.Systems Management:
Use our ERP/WMS (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and carrier software (FedEx, UPS, DHL) to process shipments and track inventory.Quality Control:
Perform final visual inspections of parts against the sales order to ensure quantities and part numbers match exactly.Logistics Coordination:
Communicate with freight forwarders and couriers to schedule pickups and resolve transit delays.
