Job Description

Max Mfg. Corp., in Oyster Bay, NY, has an opportunity available for a Shipping and Receiving Associate on the first shift. The right individual will be trained on how to pack and ship product, as well as operate all shipping equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
Keep track of shipment schedules for both incoming and outgoing shipmentsTrack inventory counts and check for damages or discrepanciesProperly account for the location of incoming goodsEnsure no damaged items are sent or receivedCompare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that products in eachdelivery match the packing listUpdate the product inventory as products are received and added to inventoryPackage products for return to vendors and fill out any necessary paperwork
Job Requirements:
High School DiplomaGood communication and organizational skillsAble to use computers for shipping program and the internetMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds
