Local, well-established food manufacturer is seeking an Assistant in the Receiving Department to join its team in Scotia, NY! This is a great opportunity for those looking to build a career or recent graduates.

$20 - $24/hour

8am - 5pm, 1-hour lunch (Possible flexibility in hours!)

Fully onsite in Scotia What you need to apply: AAS or BS Degree preferred Customer service experience PC and MS Office Proficiency Purchasing/Warehouse experience preferred A typical day as an Assistant may include: Answer department phone calls, collect driver paperwork, and direct drivers to appropriate unloading areas. Count and verify database entries for all cases produced by brand, including applicable qualifying details. Collect daily paperwork from operators and ensure all forms are completed accurately and fully. Enter and post goods issued transactions into ERP and WMS systems (e.g., SAP, AS400, NAV). Submit inventory adjustment requests to the Warehouse Management team and update records upon approval. Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies as assigned by the Supervisor. Accurately track and input daily operational data, including timecards, inbound/outbound loads, pallet counts, etc. Run inventory reports as directed and distribute to appropriate stakeholders. Provide clerical and inventory support to the department, including scanning, filing, and related tasks. Prepare reports, analyze data, and assist in identifying and recommending potential solutions.
