Job Description

We are a window treatment company looking for Shipping & Receiving clerks manage incoming deliveries by verifying and signing for shipments, Unloading and storing the received items, and processing any returns. Must have Experience with fabrics, UPS, FEDEX, USPS
SHIPMENT PROGRAMS.
You will assume the duty of clerical and administrative support in order to optimize workflow procedures in the office. You will assist colleagues and executives by supporting them with planning and distributing information. You will be the point of reference for all queries, requests or issues and will be an integral part of the company's workforce.

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: Woodhaven, NY 11421: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

English (Preferred) Answer phone calls and redirect them when necessary Manage the daily/weekly/monthly agenda and arrange new meetings and appointments Prepare and disseminate correspondence, memos and forms File and update contact information of customers, suppliers and external partners Support and facilitate the completion of regular reports Develop and maintain a filing system Check frequently the levels of office supplies and place appropriate orders Undertake occasional receptionist duties Skills Proven work experience as administrative assistant Strong organizational skills Familiarity with office organization and optimization techniques High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability Excellent written and verbal communication skills Integrity and professionalism Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Outlook and experience in QuickBooks. High school diploma Monitor emails of colleagues that are out in the field with a client. And make each colleague aware about incoming emails and inquiries. Billing experience (Excel Spreadsheet, QuickBooks)
