The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for pet grooming and animal handling, combined with a strong background in veterinary-related fields or pet care services. As a Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services that enhance the health, hygiene, and appearance of our furry clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of animals while ensuring their comfort and safety in a professional environment committed to excellence. Duties Perform grooming procedures including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing to meet client specifications and breed standards. Handle animals safely and compassionately, utilizing proper restraint techniques to ensure both pet and groomer safety. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, stations, and work areas in compliance with health regulations. Provide pet care advice to owners regarding grooming routines, coat maintenance, and overall animal health. Support pet owners through excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments efficiently. Engage in pet sitting or kennel duties as needed to support overall animal care operations. Lift heavy equipment or animals safely as part of routine grooming tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Extensive knowledge of dog training techniques and animal handling skills. Strong background in pet grooming, including breed-specific styling and coat management. Proficiency in animal restraint methods to ensure safe grooming sessions. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large animals or equipment. Excellent customer service skills combined with clear communication abilities. Experience with kennel management, pet sitting, and general pet care routines.
