Job Description

Receiving Clerk We are currently seeking candidates with receiving and warehouse experience with initiative to take ownership of their work for an advanced coatings production company in Akron. We are looking for someone who wants a career and is willing to train to take on extra responsibility. In this position you will spend a lot of day on tow motors taking raw materials to production and bringing finished product back to shipping.
Pay:
$20.00/hour (raise to $23.00 after hired by the customer)
Shift:
8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday -
Friday Key Responsibilities:
Movie materials and product to the correct storage or staging areas, as well as to and from production areas. Help receive and unload deliveries (pallets, cartons, parcels) Check deliveries for accuracy and damage and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to a supervisor Help label products and place items into designated locations Keep the receiving area clean, organized, and safe Assist with inventory counts as needed Keep outdoor staging spaces between buildings neat and clean Follow safety procedures and company policies
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum 1 year of warehouse/receiving experience required Forklift experience required, certification a plus Basic computer skills (data entry) Ability to occasionally lift up to 80 pounds Attention to detail is a must Self-motivation, willingness to learn, and work ethic are most important
