Job Description

General Warehouse/Delivery DiVal Safety Equipment - Akron, OH DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the industrial safety, Fire, and EMS distribution business, is looking for credible and motivated General Warehouse/Delivery Associate with a "whatever it takes" attitude.
Candidates must possess:

Ability to manage multiple tasks. Willingness to learn and develop personally and professionally. The main responsibility of this position is to provide accurate and efficient Warehouse/Delivery and onsite Quality Customer support with safety being a priority.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Always focus on safety - safety training and direction must be always adhered to. Various Warehouse activity, including but not limited to- picking, packing, shipping orders, receiving inventory, and putting stock away. (Estimated 60%-80%) Provide customer onsite Delivery/Vending Managed Inventory replenishment of PPE products for customers as scheduled (Estimate-20% to 40%) Accurately maintain and record inventory levels at each customer's location. Prepare and submit all necessary daily paperwork in a timely manner as required. Complete cleaning and maintenance duties as directed. Must complete daily vehicle inspection and make direct supervisor aware of any issues that might require attention. Report any existing or potential safety concerns to management. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisors in alignment with other members of the management team. Perform additional duties that may arise and assigned by management.
Skills and Requirements:
Ability to pass a
NON-D.O.T.
physical with drug screen. Strong organizational, detail oriented, self-motivated and strong time management skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis. Valid Driver's License. (Vehicle Transit Van or 16" box truck) Experienced with warehouse equipment including forklifts, electric pallet trucks, elevated work platforms, and manual pallet jacks. (Preferred) Experience with handheld equipment, like RF scanners, palm devices, and/or tablets. (Preferred) Basic computer skills a must, AS400 experience a plus High school diploma / GED equivalent.
