Shipping Clerk - 1st shift - Pay up to $22/hr!

Position Summary:

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for supporting daily shipping and receiving operations and assisting the Shipping Lead with controlling the flow of materials in and out of the warehouse. This position ensures customer orders are accurately prepared, staged, and shipped while maintaining proper product identification and safe material-handling practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist the Shipping Lead with daily shipping dock operations and the movement of materials in and out of the warehouse. Operate a narrow-aisle lift truck to retrieve and move products for shipment. Pick, stage, and prepare products for outgoing shipments. Ensure customer orders are accurately fulfilled and shipped according to requirements. Inspect products on the shipping floor to ensure they are properly tagged, labeled, and identified. Load outgoing shipments safely and efficiently. Unload incoming products and materials received from outside processors. Verify products and quantities during the shipping and receiving process. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shipping and warehouse area. Follow all company safety procedures and material-handling requirements. Assist with additional warehouse and shipping duties as assigned. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Above-average math skills. Basic computer skills. Strong leadership qualities and the ability to work effectively with others. Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Ability to prioritize work and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility with daily work schedules based on production and shipping needs. Forklift certification in accordance with Auto Bolt requirements, or ability to obtain certification. Ability to continuously lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate warehouse and material-handling equipment. Preferred Skills Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience. Experience operating forklifts or narrow-aisle lift trucks. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to accurately follow shipping documents, work instructions, and customer requirements. Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety. #indjackie
