The Shipping Associate/Clerk is responsible for accurately preparing and processing customer shipments to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time. This role coordinates with inventory, sales, accounting, and transportation providers while working in SAP. This is an onsite full-time day shift opportunity. Duties and responsibilities Pick, verify, pack, label, and prepare products for shipment. Process shipments and generate packing slips, shipping labels, and other required documents. Record shipment details, tracking information, and order status in SAP or other systems. Verify product numbers, quantities, lot numbers, and expiration dates before shipment. Compare carrier rates and select approved shipping. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shipping area. Meet daily shipping deadlines. Investigate and help resolve delayed, damaged, or lost packages. The minimum qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability needed to successfully perform the job. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience in SAP preferred. Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, Pitney Bowes freight, and shipping software is beneficial. Ability to manage multiple orders and work effectively under shipping deadlines. Ability to safely lift and move packages in accordance with company requirements. Clear communication and critical thinking skills. Working conditions Primarily working in warehouse, shipping, receiving, or fulfillment environment. Extensively uses SAP, shipping software, barcode scanners, printers, scales, and other warehouse equipment. Requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement. You must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull packages weighing up to fifty pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. May work with pallet jacks. May be exposed to varying temperatures, dust, noise, packaging materials, and warehouse traffic. Work is fast-paced and deadline driven, requiring accuracy and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Frequent interactions with carriers, drivers, customer service, inventory, and sales departments. This role will report to Diatech Warehouse Supervisor with direct communication to Diatech GM and COLTENE Manufacturing Manager.
