JOB TITLE
DEPARTMENT:
JOB SUMMARY
The Crown Certified Trainer (CCT)-Material Handler is responsible for all the training and development needs within the Materials department. This position will provide uniform training methods to all new employees throughout the department to ensure all training is done effective and correctly while being able to identify individual needs of each of the employees being trained. The CCT Material Handler will be responsible for a combination of forklift, cycle counting, overseeing IND cage, and office tasks in support of Operations and Material Management department goals.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform Forklift operator duties. Perform material receipt tasks which include; verifying packing slips, dock-level quality review, create and apply pallet and tags and store material. Maintain/Organize IND cage and other storage areas. Pick & Pull items to support production schedules for both divisions. Prepare accessory UPS orders for shipment. Verify "Returned Goods" packing slips. Route returned goods to stock or to orders. Assist in preparation of large customer shipments. Responsible for the training of all other material handlers and cross-training department colleagues. Perform department inventory tasks such as; cycle counts and fiscal year-end preparation and support. Back-up the SLI Receiving/Inventory Clerk as needed. Filing/Scanning/Emailing/Spreadsheet use. General Office duties. Be familiar and compliant with the systems, procedures, and documentation of the Crown Quality System and how it relates to this position and Crown quality objectives.
ACCOUNTABILITY
This position reports directly to the Sr. Materials Manager.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 years of age Experience with safety and environmental training 1 year manufacturing/factory experience required in a fast paced setting Required to attend 12 hours of off site training Expected to have reliable attendance, may lose CCT title if offered the AEP program for attendance Annual hazardous waste/scrap management training
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand/walk for 8-10 hours at a time. Bending, twisting, and turning. Full use of both hands to finger, handle, or fell objects, tools, or tooling; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk to hear. The employee must be able to lift or move up to 75 pounds frequently and in excess of 140 pounds infrequently. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Must follow OSHA guidelines on respirator fit testing and proper wear. Will wear goggles or face shield at all times while in department.
