Job Description
Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 85 years. Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Shipping Associate to join our Spring Meadow Farms team in Rossburg.
Scanning all incoming and outgoing products and materials into the CAT² System.
Repairing damaged racks returned from the customer which may consist of bending and straightening brackets, removing plastic wrap from the wheels, and minimal welding.
Sweeping out trailer before loading and checking refrigeration units, as well as wrapping, loading and securing product to be shipped.
SHIFT HOURS
Sunday through Wednesday 7:00am-4:30pm with an optional 5th day on Thursday.STARTING HOURLY RATE
$17.90-$21.45 with a potential increase after 90 days.ADDITIONAL PAY
Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance) All training will be provided.Job functions include:
Unloading materials to be placed in designated areas such as dry storage, cooler or staging area.Scanning all incoming and outgoing products and materials into the CAT² System.
