Job Description

Shipping Clerk Position Summary:
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for overseeing the shipping operations of the facility, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products. This role involves completing daily shipments on time, coordinating with shipping team members and other departments, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities :
Ensure that all outbound shipments meet company quality standards and comply with regulations. Preparation of shipping documents, including bills of lading, shipping manifests, license plates, and customs paperwork. Delegate daily shipping assignments. Greet and assist visitors, vendors, contractors, customers and have them sign in accordingly. Address and communicate any shipping issues or delays. Monitor shipping reports to ensure all orders ship on time as required. Deliver daily, weekly and monthly shipping updates. Ensure all fulfillments are completed before shipping orders. Direct inbound deliveries to the appropriate areas for processing. Safely operate all PIT equipment. Attend all required meetings and training. Cross train team members on shipping processes. Ensures compliance with quality, 6S, and OSHA programs; assures conformity to all company and customer requirements. Other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Skills:
High School Diploma/GED required 3-5 years work experience in shipping Microsoft Office 365 proficiency required Pace Jet and NetSuite experience preferred. Some college preferred.
