Job Title:

Shipping Associate (1st Shift) ($20.00/hr.) Job Description The Shipping Associate works in a clean warehouse environment and is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping customer orders while maintaining accurate inventory records. This is a MondayFriday schedule, supporting day-to-day shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations. We are looking for an individual to interview and start as soon as possible. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half! Responsibilities Ship parcel packages accurately and on time using carriers such as UPS and FedEx. Pull boxes from shelves and transport them to the designated shipping area. Use computer systems to process orders, enter data, and assist with customer-related problem solving when needed. Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring correct items and quantities. Stage orders and package boxes securely to prevent damage in transit. Receive incoming shipments and enter inventory transactions into the company system. Stock materials, organize inventory, and maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records. Perform quality checks on materials and verify they meet customer specifications and requirements. Assist with general warehouse housekeeping to keep the facility clean and organized. Follow safety initiatives and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts when required, following all safety protocols. Complete documentation related to shipping, receiving, and inventory activities. Essential Skills At least 1 year of experience in warehouse, shipping and receiving, or material handling. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking, data entry, and order processing. Experience with shipping processes and documentation. Ability to work with parcel carriers such as UPS and FedEx. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate picking, packing, and inventory records. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety procedures. Comfort working in a warehouse environment and performing physical tasks throughout the day. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with general warehouse operations, including picking orders, packaging, and stocking materials. Familiarity with SAP, ERP, or similar inventory and order management systems. Forklift operation experience. Ability to maintain organized work areas and support housekeeping efforts. Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions and seek help when needed. Demonstrated humility and team-oriented mindset to fit well with a close-knit culture. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Twinsburg, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
