Assist guests as needed or requested. Shipping/receiving/pricing/tagging product Managing back stock and rotating merchandise Maintaining incoming/outgoing inventory records Examining shipments/matching with PO/Invoice/Pkg. slips Working with vendors to rectify damaged merchandise/shorted items/back orders/improper pricing Timely pricing and distribution of product to ensure it gets on the sales floor as soon as possible Assembling product & displays as needed or directed Operate cash register as needed or directed Additional duties as requested or directed Skills You'll Bring The shipping / receiving person is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized inventory room. Accurate account of inventory and proper pricing of product according to management guidelines. Communicate in a positive and professional manner with guests and fellow staff members. Excellent Verbal and written skills Retail experience preferably in a specialty shop Demonstrated proficiency with computers and software programs; excellent math and analytical skills. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, sit and reach with hands and arms and frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
