Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper/Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of shipments and orders. Delivering shipments using a box truck to other local facilities. - Manage and coordinate the receipt and shipment of goods and materials.
- Utilize a warehouse management system to track inventory levels, monitor orders, and manage the shipping and receiving process.
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks to load and unload shipments.
- Pick and pack orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform basic math calculations to verify inventory levels and package quantities.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and receiving areas.
- Manage and coordinate the distribution of goods to and from the distribution center.
- Handle e-commerce orders and ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and orders.
- Driving company box truck to deliver parts to other facilities (Must have clean driving record) Skills
- Experience in a distribution center or similar warehouse environment.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina for lifting and carrying packages.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Must have clean driving record and box truck experience a plus.
- Must have tow motor experience.
