Job Description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Receiving Clerk processes freight and incoming merchandise including confirming receipt of merchandise, verifying shipments, and moving stock into and throughout the stores quickly. You will report to the Inventory Control Analyst. $16/Hour | Full Time | Wednesday-Sunday 11pm-7:30am
Primary Tasks:
1. You will maintain accurate inventory records of quantity, type, and value of material, merchandise, or supplies stocked. 2. Receive and document merchandise as it arrives. 3. You will review orders for completeness and accuracy. 4. Reconcile on-hand inventory to electronic inventory records. 5. You will notify management regarding broken and damaged goods, delivery shortages, and back orders to insure prompt credits and corrections to invoices. 6. Deliver orders to appropriate venue. This includes unpacking, counting, recording, tagging and stocking. 7. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:

  • Previous retail, inventory, purchasing or stocking experience preferred.
