Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shipping Assistant and Customer Service Assistant to join our dynamic logistics team. In this pivotal role, you will help with shipping and receiving operations while providing exceptional customer service to clients and internal teams. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth warehouse distribution, accurate order fulfillment, and efficient stock management. Duties Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities, including load & unload operations using forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers Prepare packages with precision, ensuring proper packing materials and techniques for safe delivery Assist with order fulfillment by selecting items via picking & packing procedures aligned with customer specifications Maintain organized stockrooms through stocking, inventory counts, and cycle counts Support warehouse distribution processes by loading trucks efficiently and verifying shipment details with basic math calculations Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries, tracking shipments, and resolving issues related to shipping & receivingExperience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse distribution and logistics operations Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers; forklift certification is preferred Pull up Material Data Reports for each shipment Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing processes, and inventory control methods Basic math skills for calculating weights, dimensions, and shipment quantities Experience supporting e-commerce order fulfillment processes is a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detailJoin us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in logistics and customer satisfaction!
