We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Order Fulfillment Associate to support our warehouse operations. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately pick items from stock based on bills of materials (BOMs) or customer orders. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Order Picking Print and review Shop Order picklists. Locate and retrieve items from designated stock locations within the warehouse and stockroom, and issue all picked parts to the shop order in IFS. Ensure accuracy and completeness of picked items, double-checking quantities and product codes against the picklist before issuing. Unbox and organize all parts going to the production floor. Help Material Handlers identify parts that need to be stocked from overstock locations in production. Ensure that all picking locations are stocked by bringing down overstock. Monitor add/delete emails and the add/delete board to ensure that all added parts are picked, issued, and delivered to jobs, and that all deleted parts are retrieved, restocked, and returned in IFS. 2. Inventory Management & System Transactions Perform all inventory transactions in IFS in real time, including issues, returns, location moves, and adjustments, using a handheld scanner where applicable. Maintain IFS inventory accuracy by ensuring that physical material movement and system transactions occur together — no movement without a transaction, no transaction without movement. Perform cycle counts as assigned. Investigate inventory discrepancies identified through cycle counts or daily picking activity, and escalate root causes to the supervisor. Report stock shortages and at-risk material to the appropriate personnel. 3. Quality Assurance Inspect picked items for any defects or damage before issuing to the shop order. Report any quality issues to the supervisor or quality control team. 4. Safety and Compliance Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Comply with company policies and procedures, including those related to inventory management and warehouse operations. Duties and responsibilities are subject to change based on production needs.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in stockroom or warehouse operations preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Basic computer skills and proficiency in inventory management software/systems. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
