Job TitleShipper/Receiver - Swing ShiftJob DescriptionWe are currently searching for a Shipper/Receiver to be based out of Eugene location. Reporting to the Shipping Manager, this person will be responsible for pulling and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks and making sure the product is secure and safe. They will also be operating powered industrial equipment.

Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Knows and follows plant safety rules and wears proper PPEKnows and follows yard and dock loading/unloading safety rules and proceduresAble to locate, accurately count, and package products for shipmentInspect products and packaging for damagePackage, palletize and bundle product for shipment using means appropriate for method of transportationProficient with all sorts of material handling and packaging devices including forklifts, pallet jacks, and bandersCycle count productAccurately receive and record inbound freight shipmentsCorrectly identify and put away purchased/manufactured fittingsAware of overstock areasLoad out customer will calls and other docked van freightUnload product from flatbeds and docked van freightAble to correctly tie down loaded flat racksPacking accuracy must be at or exceed an acceptable levelPerform general warehouse duties and cleanupAll other assigned dutiesWhat you'll bring:

High school diploma, or equivalent strongly preferredExcellent interpersonal and communications skillsGood understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculationsHigh attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organizationShows initiativeMust be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events in a calm and logical mannerMust be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environmentAble to lift 50 pounds unassisted and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $18.50/hr plus $1.00/hr shift differential. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
