Receiving and Shipping Associate

SHIPPING & RECEIVING ASSOCIATE

Originally established as a quick-print shop in the Portland area, our client quickly became known as a leading local resource for fast-turnaround printing needs of local businesses. SUMMARY This is a multifaceted role in all aspects of Shipping/Receiving. The best candidate will have skills in UPS and FedEx software, forklift operation, be willing and able to assist the team in all aspects, with a positive "can-do" attitude.

PAY:

up to $24/hr depending on skills and experience, which are determined by the hiring manager.

SHIFT:

7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday -

Friday DUTIES:

Pick and pack items for outbound Using digital systems, including but not limited to, RF scanners, UPS World Ship, and FedEx Shipping Manager. Consistently move containers of product up to 50lbs manually. Safely use a forklift to load, unload, and move product. Maintain inventory accuracy and organization Understand the principles of stock location and the arrangement of materials Packing and labeling items for shipping Unload shipping containers of product inbound. Prepare containers to be shipped per customer requirements and work orders. Keep daily logs, inventory, and rotate stock. Prepare shipping documents. Perform receiving procedures. Must support and follow all safety policies and requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum one year of recent and consistent work experience in a warehouse environment. Minimum 6 months of recent working experience on a forklift. Working knowledge and use of UPS World Ship and/or FedEx Shipping Manager software experience Proven ability to safely operate a forklift within a warehouse Work experience in an environment that requires attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with accuracy Must be able to lift to 50 pounds consistently.
