This position is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, preparing outbound orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with LTL freight shipments , inventory management systems, and warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment Coordinate and schedule LTL and parcel shipments with carriers Process shipping documents, bills of lading, and receiving paperwork Maintain organized warehouse and inventory storage locations Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged goods Enter inventory transactions and shipment information into company systems Load and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment Work closely with purchasing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory control Experience coordinating LTL freight shipments Strong inventory management and cycle counting experience Ability to accurately process shipping and receiving documentation Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, and freight carrier systems Basic computer skills and experience with inventory Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to become certified) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the warehouse during the workday Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and material handling tools What We Offer Competitive pay: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour , depending on experience Full-time, stable employment Benefits package available after 90 days Family-owned company culture with a supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and advancement
