Operations Manager Position Summary In this role, you will be responsible for the integrity and systematic oversight of our physical inventory. You will be responsible for ensuring that every piece of material—from the moment it arrives at the dock to the moment it is picked for an order—is accurately tracked, properly stored, and handled with care. This position is essential to maintaining lean operations and high levels of inventory accuracy. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Inspect arriving shipments for damage, verify quantities against packing slips, and accurately enter data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Execute First-In, First-Out (FIFO) protocols to ensure older stock is utilized before newer arrivals, minimizing waste and expiration issues. Replenish forward-picking locations from bulk storage to ensure order pickers have constant access to necessary materials. Perform regular, scheduled physical counts of inventory (Cycle Counting) to identify and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records. Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free workspace. Ensure all materials are stored in their designated "homes" to prevent lost or misplaced items. Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation. Identify and report any potential hazards to management immediately.

Required Qualifications Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience:

Prior experience in a warehouse or retail stockroom environment is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Technical Aptitude:

Basic computer literacy; familiarity with handheld scanners or WMS software is an advantage.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly Attention to

Strong attendance record and a commitment to meeting daily operational deadlines. Work Environment The work environment is a fast-paced, industrial setting that requires constant awareness of moving equipment and active trucking lanes. Employees operate in a moderate noise area and must adhere to strict safety protocols, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) when required. Language and Communication Skills Ability to read and interpret internal communications, packing slips, and common documents. Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures. Ability to respond to inquiries or issues from vendors, or members of the business. Ability to talk with others to convey information effectively. Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Ability to develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with others. Inventory control is a physically active role that requires stamina, precision, and the ability to navigate a warehouse environment safely. The position requires the following physical capabilities:

Dynamic Movement & Mobility:

Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body. This includes climbing industrial ladders, kneeling, lifting, balancing, walking, and stooping throughout a standard 8-hour shift.

Manual Dexterity:

Ability to quickly move the hand, hand together with arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate, or package objects. This is essential for handling small parts, operating handheld scanners, and labeling stock.

Strength Requirements:

Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move materials weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.

Visual Acuity:

Specific vision abilities required include close vision (reading small part numbers/barcodes), distance vision (navigating warehouse aisles), color vision (distinguishing color-coded labels), peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Environmental Navigation:

Ability to remain on one's feet for extended periods while traversing concrete warehouse floors and operating in various temperature conditions typical of a loading dock or storage facility. Position Type, Expected Hours of Work This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, onsite at the warehouse in Beaver, PA.

Shift hours:

11:00 AM - 7:30 PM Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
