About the Role The Shipping Clerk is responsible for accurately and efficiently packaging, counting, recording, distributing, and shipping materials in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of aircraft wheel and brake components to customers and internal departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Fulfill customer orders in accordance with standard operating procedures. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Utilize computer systems and software to generate shipping labels and maintain shipping equipment. Ensure all shipments are properly processed and assigned to the appropriate carrier. Prepare and package shipments, including assembling shipping cartons. Load and unload shipments from delivery trucks. Operate a forklift to move materials from storage areas to shipping/palletizing areas. Support general warehouse and logistics operations as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization. Well-developed interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks based on business needs. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. High attention to detail and accuracy. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a shipping or warehouse environment preferred.
