A Shipping or Receiving Clerk tracks all incoming and/or outgoing shipments at a company facility and checks that shipment orders are filled correctly. Uses scanning equipment to track inventory. Works in receiving to check shipments that are primarily production materials or company supplies, or checks outgoing shipments of finished products.
$17.00 per hour Job Responsibilities for Shipping Associate Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Process shipments, create shipping labels, and coordinate deliveries with carriers. Verify order accuracy and maintain shipping records. Assist with inventory counts, receiving, and general warehouse duties. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Requirements and Skills for Shipping Associate High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse, shipping, or distribution experience preferred. Experience with FedEx, UPS, and UPS WorldShip strongly preferred. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn shipping software. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift. Forklift experience is a plus.
