Shipping and Receiving Clerk Job Description This contract role focuses on shipping and receiving fuel pumps that arrive packaged in boxes. You will work in a highly repetitive, hands-on position that involves standing, bending, and placing items throughout the day while handling boxes weighing up to 25 pounds. The assignment is expected to last until the end of the year, with the potential for extension or conversion based on performance. Responsibilities Handle boxed fuel pumps as part of daily shipping and receiving activities. Perform repetitive tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and placing boxes weighing up to 25 pounds throughout the shift. Assist with shipping operations, including preparing items for shipment and ensuring they are correctly handled and staged. Support receiving processes by handling incoming boxed fuel pumps and organizing them as directed. Maintain a consistent workflow while performing repetitive duties with accuracy and attention to detail. Follow all workplace procedures and safety guidelines while working around shipping and receiving equipment. Essential Skills Experience or familiarity with inventory processes. Experience or familiarity with shipping and receiving functions. Ability to lift and handle boxes weighing up to 25 pounds repeatedly throughout the day. Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for the duration of the shift. Comfort working in a repetitive, process-driven environment. Work Environment This position is based in a shipping and receiving setting where you will handle boxed fuel pumps throughout your shift. Multiple full-time shifts are available, including 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., as well as part-time options such as 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The work involves standing, bending, and lifting boxes up to 25 pounds for most of the day in a repetitive, production-style environment. No steel-toe footwear is required. The role is contract-based and is expected to run until the end of the year, with the possibility of extension, conversion, or layoff depending on business needs and individual performance. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lock Haven, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
