Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE
Overseeing and keeping records of all shipping and receiving. Update inventory records and compile weekly cycle counts for management teams. Responsible for sorting, organizing, and moving goods from one location to another. Must have excellent administrative and organization skills conveying vital information quickly, effectively, and accurately.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Receive and process material orders daily, including accepting deliveries, labeling them and distributing packages. Coordinate deliveries to customers and clients daily, including boxing goods, addressing packages, and staying in contact with shipping companies. Maintain the company inventory by cleaning, organizing, and labeling items in inventory on a regular basis. Keep records of goods that have been shipped and received, preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for supervisors. Place merchandise in inventory by boxing and lifting items as necessary and operating forklifts and/or pallet jacks for large items. Schedule large shipments and coordinate logistics to ensure that there is enough storage space for incoming items and personnel on hand to manage incoming shipments. Issuance and transfer of finished goods. Ship product according to customer requirements. Control of non-conforming product. Operate forklift truck. Conform to the company quality system procedures and documents. Performs related work as apparent or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
High School diploma or
GED. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
Computer experience and knowledge using Microsoft programs.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1 year minimum.
SKILLS ABILITIES
Ability to learn JobBOSS manufacturing software. Forklift driver certificate.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
PHYSICAL
STRENGTH
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs frequently and up to 80lbs occasionally.
LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
