Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities Always follow safety procedures and perform all tasks safely in an accurate, timely and safe manner Always follow company standards and regulations Maintain the warehouse and dock areas in a safe, orderly, and clean manner and perform other manual functions necessary for all warehouse operations. Fill common carrier orders and follow delivery schedules for loading. Complete shipping documents and receipts in the Sage/Scanforce Stage and organize materials and ingredients Schedule daily customer shipments, follow up with carriers, and communication to customer service Send daily shipment log and scanned BOL's to customer service Prepare finished products for shipment per procedure, load the trailers as per loading procedure and complete the loading paperwork Coordinate bills of loading/pick tickets for deliveries Assist in handling customer emergency requests for product or late shipments during off-hours Complete shipping documentation for order revisions and to ensure customer service accuracy Document, inspect and unload inbound products and materials per written procedures Count physical inventory and conduct cycle counts of all material stored in the warehouse Receive incoming materials and miscellaneous purchase orders, notifying appropriate personal Certification required on numerous types of forklifts and fork trucks (or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment) Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as batch, or product code Receive and track quality holds Submit purchase request to Purchasing for inventory managed by the warehouse Special projects as directed by Production Supervisor and assist in Production Operations when needed Count, repacking, or repalletizing product when necessary Adding of additional customer specific labels as required Careful and proper handling and storage of our products Other duties as assigned
