RECEIVING CLERK

Military & Commercial Fasteners, Inc a manufacturer and distributor of fasteners and precise machined components for the Commercial , Defense & Aerospace industries, is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of a Receiving Clerk. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 7am-4:30pm. Job Requirements Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment. Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel. Process incoming material in accordance with the internal procedures. Update the ERP system to add product to inventory. Sort, organize, and store incoming shipments. Maintains product identification and traceability. Initiation of Discrepancy Reports, for products not meeting the required specifications. Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Qualifications Ability to lift at least 40lbs. Proficient in operating forklift Average computer skills preferred. Familiar with working within an ISO9001 environment a plus. Ability to work independently and effectively in managing day to day tasks and workloads. Ability to speak, read and write in English. Must have receiving experience and some forklift experience This position may require access to export-controlled information. Candidates must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
