About Us Advanced Fluid Systems has been designing, building, and repairing hydraulic systems in York, PA since 1985. The Role Advanced Fluid systems has an immediate opening for a Shipping & Receiving Associate in East York facility. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to support a dedicated project while also cross-training in other areas of our warehouse. This is a hands-on role supporting daily warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, cycle-counting, inventory lot control, etc. You'll receive incoming material against purchase orders, verify quantities and part numbers against packing slips, process receipts into our system, label and put away inventory, pick and pack material for manufacturing, prepare and ship outbound orders and perform cycle counts for inventory accuracy. Accuracy matters in this role. The right person will take ownership of material from the time it arrives until it reaches its destination. Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. What You'll Do Receive and inspect inbound shipments; verify part numbers, quantities, and condition against purchase orders and packing slips Enter receipts and shipments accurately into our system Report shortages, damages, and discrepancies promptly for resolution Apply lot labels to incoming material as required Move inventory between receiving, storage, staging and manufacturing areas while maintaining accurate records Perform cycle counts, maintain accurate inventory quantities and lot control, and investigate inventory discrepancies Pick, pack, and stage outbound orders Crate and palletize products appropriately based on size, weight, and destination Prepare packing slips, bills of lading, and other carrier paperwork Coordinate with warehouse and manufacturing personnel to ensure material is available when needed Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and safe Safely operate a forklift and pallet jack What We're Looking For Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control or material handling preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/ERP systems Ability to read and understand packing lists, purchase orders, bills of lading and other shipping/receiving documents Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work independently Comfortable being on your feet all day and lifting up to 50 pounds Ability to safely operate or learn to operate a forklift and pallet jack Reliable attendance.
